A big thank you to everyone who visited the ExPEDite project at the Smart City Expo World Congress 2025 (SCEWC25) in Barcelona!

This year’s edition brought together 27,104 participants from 143 countries, diving into climate-neutral cities, digital transformation, and the future of urban innovation across 359 sessions. ExPEDite was proud to showcase how we are designing and deploying Positive Clean Energy Districts in Riga, paving the way for replication across Europe.

Hosted at the OASC booth, our team engaged in a dedicated meet-and-greet session, connected with sister projects, cities and knowledge institutes, and exchanged insights on shared challenges and successes.
