The ExPEDite project is excited to take part in the OASC Conference 2026 – “Digital transformation via funded projects”, taking place 28–29 January 2026 in Fundão, Portugal. This flagship event of the Open & Agile Smart Cities (OASC) network brings together more than 170 cities and regions committed to open, interoperable, and human-centric digital innovation.

Building on a decade of collaboration, the OASC Conference has become a key meeting point for public leaders, technologists, and researchers shaping the future of digital urban services. The 2026 edition puts a special spotlight on funded projects as drivers of transformation, showcasing successful initiatives, diverse funding models, and new partnership opportunities across Europe.

Throughout the event, participants will exchange practical insights on project design, sustainability, and policy alignment — and explore fresh avenues for collaboration.

ExPEDite will play an active role with a Day 2 deep dive session titled:
“The ExPEDite LDT-CitiVerse sandbox as a virtual living lab for engaging stakeholders in the implementation of Positive Energy Districts.”
