๐ Join us for the ExPEDite Demo Day!
September 18, 2026Putting people at the heart of Positive Energy Districts
ExPEDite will take part in the 2026 OpenLivingLab Days, with project partner Laurea University of Applied Sciences representing the project during the poster session in Antwerp.
The event kicks off in Brussels on 29 September with a Policy Event bringing together EU institutions and the Living Lab community. The conference continues in Antwerp on 30 September and 1 October, followed by site visits to Belgian Living Labs and innovation spaces on 2 October.
As part of the conference, Laurea will present ExPEDiteโs work on Living Lab activities and social impact assessment:
๐ Where? Marble Hall, Room with a ZOO
๐
When? 1 October 2026
๐ Timing? Directly after the closing session
Within ExPEDite, Living Labs provide real-world spaces where citizens, communities and local stakeholders can co-create, test and learn from solutions for more sustainable and resilient Positive Energy Districts (PEDs).
The project also looks beyond energy performance to understand the social impact of urban transformation, including quality of life, inclusion, participation and trust.
By connecting Living Lab activities with social impact assessment, ExPEDite aims to ensure that PEDs are not only technically successful, but also meaningful and beneficial for the people and communities they serve.
We look forward to sharing our experience, learning from other Living Labs and contributing to the conversation on people-centred urban transformation.
