The ExPEDite project is proud to participate in the 10-year edition of the Smart and Sustainable City Planning (SSPCR) Conference, taking place from 9–12 December 2025 in Bolzano. For a decade, SSPCR has been a global forum driving innovation in urban and regional development, uniting researchers, policymakers, and practitioners committed to smarter and more sustainable cities.

As cities worldwide face growing pressures—from climate change and resource scarcity to digitalization and social equity—the 2025 conference will highlight forward-looking solutions that build resilience, inclusiveness, and environmental responsibility. Set against Bolzano’s vibrant and sustainable urban setting, participants will experience both cutting-edge discussions and real-world examples of future-ready city planning.

ExPEDite will be represented by UNIPD, who will present the project’s latest progress during the session “Go-PCEDs: Good Practices for Enabling Positive and Clean Energy Districts.” The session will explore how innovative energy solutions and district-level strategies can accelerate the transition toward climate-neutral urban areas.
